ellsea-1.0 |
Hello, I'd like to announce the first release of the 'ellsea' package, an implementation of the Schoof-Elkies-Atkin point counting algorithm for elliptic curves, over the prime field F_p (up to about 300 bits). http://www.math.u-psud.fr/~belabas/pari/scripts/ellsea.tar.gz This GP package was written by Christophe Doche and Sylvain Duquesne, in the course for the AREHCC project, see http://www.arehcc.com/. This package _requires_ PARI/GP version 2.2.10 (or above :-). It is released under the GNU General Public License. Happy counting, Karim. P.S: I plan to integrate the code in the main PARI tree, with modular polynomials provided in a separate archive (as galdata is now). -- Karim Belabas Tel: (+33) (0)1 69 15 57 48 Dep. de Mathematiques, Bat. 425 Fax: (+33) (0)1 69 15 60 19 Universite Paris-Sud http://www.math.u-psud.fr/~belabas/ F-91405 Orsay (France) http://pari.math.u-bordeaux.fr/ [PARI/GP]
